FAQ
Garage door questions we get every week
If your question is not here, call us — we are happy to talk it through before you spend anything.
How fast can you get to my garage door?
We serve Miami-Dade and Broward daily and usually reach most neighborhoods the same day for stuck or broken doors. Call 305-360-0342 and we will give you a realistic arrival window before we head out.
My spring snapped — can I still use the door?
No. With a broken spring the door weighs its full 150–350 lbs and the opener is not built to lift it. Leave the door down, do not pull the emergency release under load, and call 305-360-0342.
Do you replace one spring or both?
Both. Springs age together, so replacing only the broken one leaves you with a mismatched system that fails again quickly and puts uneven load on the shaft.
Why does my door reverse right before it closes?
Almost always the photo-eye safety sensors: knocked out of alignment, dirty, or with a damaged wire. It can also be an over-tight close-force setting. Both are quick diagnostics for us.
Can you install an impact-rated door?
Yes. We install wind-load and impact-rated doors suited to South Florida coastal requirements, with the reinforcement and anchoring those doors need.
How long does a new garage door installation take?
A standard single or double door is typically a half-day to a full day, including removing and hauling away the old door, new tracks and hardware, and opener setup and testing.
Do you work on commercial and rolling steel doors?
We handle light commercial sectional doors and openers for small businesses across Miami-Dade and Broward. Describe your door when you contact us and we will confirm the fit.
